In Cafetería Amatxi we prepare daily, from Monday to Friday, traditional “Pinchos” to start the day properly.

We also offer fast dishes, toasts and sandwiches.

One of the things that makes us to be proud is our Coffee. If you try it, for sure you will come back for another one.

We also have natural infusions that are great before bedtime.

From Monday to Sunday from 08:00 to 23:00

Coffee Makers Contest
 
Premio de Johanna del Hotel Villavaen el concurso de Baristas
One of our waitress competed in the Coffee Makers Contest 2008 organized by “Escuela de hostelería Ibaialde” of Burlada. Twelve participants competed with their preparations based on espresso coffee. We participated for the fist time, represented by Johanna Sanchez Cifuentes, who finished in second place.

CINNAMON COFEE


   Ingredients for 4 people:

   4 spoons of groung coffee
   a pinch of ground cinnamon
   2 cinnamon sticks

   Preparation:
   Make a normal espresso coffee
   Add a pinch of cinnamon in the hot coffee
   Serve with a small stick of cinnamon per cup

CAFÉ CAPUCCINO


  Ingredients for 4 people:

  3 spoons of ground coffee
  ½ l. of milk
  2 spoons of cream (optional)
  a pinch of cinnamon

  Preparation:
  Is prepared in a 150cc. cup with these proportions: 1/3 express coffee, 1/3 milk and 1/3 foamed
  milk.

  According to taste, add a little cream, and sprinkle with a pinch of ground cinnamon

IRISH COFEE


  Ingredients for 4 people:
  2 spoons of sugar
  4 glasses of whisky
  150 gr. of cream
  a pinch of decaffeinated coffee

  Preparation:
  Put the sugar and the whisky in a hot glass
  Pour hot coffee into each glass and mix well
  Put the cream on top and sprinkle with a pinch of decaffeinated coffee

SCOTCH COFEE


  Ingredients for 4 people:
  2 spoons of sugar
  4 glasses of whisky
  8 balls of vanilla ice cream
  A pinch of cinnamon

  Preparation:
  Put the sugar and the whisky in a hot glass
  Pour hot coffee into each glass and mix well
  Above, put 2 balls of ice cream on each glass and sprinkle with a pinch of ground cinnamon
